Let the River Flow: due to severe flooding from the Doonbeg river, vast areas of land along the river have been covered in up to five feet of water with some homes also effected.  A meeting will be held in the hall  on Wed 23 Sept at 9 pm.  Contact  087 7683447.

West Clare Community Services Programme:

have organised the following events to celebrate Positive Ageing Week:

21-25 Sept: a series of art taster classes running in the Community Arts Centre, Vandaleur St., Kilrush (€2 - €4 per class)

25 Sept: celebrating the launch of our CSP programme in Carrigaholt with music, arts & crafts and a mini market, a fun day is guaranteed!

28 Sept: Quilty DVD showing farming through the ages, depicting the transition from the horse to the tractor, followed by buffet.

1 Oct: Cooraclare group are making a trip to Knock, everyone is welcome to join in, a bus has been organised.

2 Oct:  Tea Dance in Downes’ Bealaha to launch  DVD from our Bealtaine celebrations.
